FRAMINGHAM – Santa arrived on a fire truck to deliver Christmas presents for those at SAGE House on Winter Street.
SAGE house is a drug and alcohol addiction rehab center in Framingham operated by the South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC).
Members of the Framingham Police and Fire departments delivered toys and gifts to those at SAGE House.
According to SMOC, ” Sage House provides a comprehensive range of services to families (male head of household with children and/or couples with children) with chronic substance abuse problems. The average length of for clients is six to eight months. The program objective is to increase unconditional self, acceptance, self-direction, independent functioning and emotional resilience while decreasing at-risk behaviors.”
