Eric B. Segal, 62, Supervisor For Stop and Shop; Framingham North Graduate

FRAMINGHAM – Eric B. Segal, 62, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 following a lengthy illness.

Born in Boston the son of the Judith (Ackerman) and the late Joseph G. Segal, he was the beloved husband of Karen A. (Almquist) Segal.

Eric was a graduate of Framingham North High School, and worked for many years as a supervisor for Stop & Shop distribution.

He enjoyed vacations down the cape, his best friend Rick Costa, playing backgammon.

His family was his priority, and besides his wife Karen and mother Judith, Eric is survived by his cherished son Joseph D. & his companion Kimberly Granfield of Framingham, his brothers, David of Framingham and Michael of Marlborough, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Eric’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, December 12 from 4 to 8 p.m.

His funeral services and interment will be private.
