UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Tuesday, December 4

1 The Framingham Special Education Parent Advisory Council (FSEPAC) is hosting a free social security workshop tonight at Framingham High at 5;30 p.m. in the library on disability benefits. Click here for more details.


2. The Framingham High School PTBO has a meeting tonight at 7 in the school’s library. Two special guests are the school’s new school resource officers Stephen O’Rourke and Eric Hayes. They will discuss a day in the life of the school resource officers and how they interact with students and staff to keep the school community connected and safe. Both school resource officers are Framingham High graduates.

Principal Carolyn Banach will be available to answer related school safety and security questions also. All parents are welcome.

3. UPDATED: City of Framingham meetings:

  • Framingham City Council is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Blumer room in the Memorial Building.
  • The Framingham School Building Committee is expected to hold a meeting at Fuller Middle School at 7 tonight


4. According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer is attending a ribbon cutting for a new bus for the Callahan Center this afternoon.


5.  MassBay Community College’s basketball team is hosting Gateway at 6 p.m. at its Flagg drive campus in Framingham.
