UPDATED: Framingham Fire Responds To Gas Main Struck

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Fire Department responded to a report of a gas main struck in the City just around 10 a.m. today, December 3.

A construction crew hit a gas line on Union Avenue during road work.

Framingham Police closed the road between Melrose and Lincoln streets for repairs.

“The line has already been repaired,” said Assistant Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher at 12:25 p.m.

Now the delays on Union Avenue, are just the every day road construction.
