FRAMINGHAM -The Framingham Artists’ Guild is presenting its annual members’ at exhibit at the main Framingham Public Library through December 28.
The art can be seen in the lobby of the public library.
The exhibit is a judged show of members’ works.
The Guild held an artists reception tonight, December 3.
Founded in 1954, the Framingham Artists’ Guild was incorporated as a 501 c(3) non-profit in 1987.
The Guild is now located at Amazing Things Art Center at 160 Hollis Street.
The Guild supports visual art of all media and styles – painting, fabric, photography, sculpture, collage, and beyond.
Members range from the formally educated to the novice – coming together to grow their personal artistic development and the art community at large.
The Guild exists because of the enthusiasm of its founders and the continuing work and friendship of artists gathered together to network, to improve themselves and their work, to build opportunities to show and sell their works, and to present the public with opportunities to view fine art and to interact with working artists.
