FRAMINGHAM – The Department of Public Works plans to pave Concord Street from Cochituate Road (Route 30) to Old Conn Path on Thursday, November 29.
Work will begin at 5 a.m.
“I want to stress that this operation will significantly impact the morning commuter traffic on Concord Street and the surrounding areas. We have increased the number of trucks delivering mix in hopes of finishing before the evening commute,” said Framingham Highway Director Dan Nau.
“The 5:00 am start is to begin work at the Old Conn Path intersection in order to reopen it as soon as possible,” said Nau.
“Because this is the final paving course on this section, it will necessitate longer wait times at side street locations,” said Nau.
Police details will be on site.
There are detours. See the maps below.
The road will be passable to emergency vehicles at all times with some minor delay.
