FRAMINGHAM – Robert James Kee, 54, a lifelong Framingham resident passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 after a period of declining health.
Born in Framingham, April 24, 1964, he was the son of the late Howard and Sylvia (Thibodeau) Kee, and beloved husband of Natalia (Cabral) Kee.
Robert graduated J.P.Keefe Tech then Johnson and Whales University.
He briefly served in the Navy, training out of San Diego before being honorably discharged.
He worked many years for the Hood Co. as an independent distributor, then pursuing his culinary career at Legal Seafood doing research and development as well as quality control.
He was always proud of his culinary accomplishments one being catering Julia Child’s 80th’s birthday another working under Jean-Jacques Pailblanc.
He was the number 1 top bright sales man in the entire Northeast region at one point.
“He could sell anything from a needle to a battleship” his father used to say.
Robert was a very talented musician being able to play many different instruments, his favorites being the keyboards and the guitar. Well known for his musical and culinary abilities Robert also enjoyed entertaining friends and playing the occasional video game.
More than anything he adored his family, besides his wife Natalia, Robert is survived by his children, Robert Jr, Christopher, Graham, Britteny and his first granddaughter Lillian.
Family and friends will honor and remember Robert’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St.,Framingham, on Saturday, December 1 3 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
