UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Wednesday, November 28

1 There is a forum about the proposed new Fuller Middle School at 6 p.m. at Fuller Middle School on Flagg Drive. There is an optional tour at 5;30 p.m. This is the last forum before the Dec. 11 vote.

Food, babysitting, and translation will be provided for those that wish to attend and join the discussion.


2. The MetroWest YMCA is hosting a healthy holiday workshop tonight from 6 to 7.  Nutrition interns from Framingham State University will discuss strategies and tips for having a healthy, mindful holiday season. Healthy holiday recipes will be provided! There is no cost to attend this workshop. 3. The Christa McAuliffe Library branch will hold a free screening of the movie Crazy Rich Asians tonight at 7. The event is free.


4. City of Framingham meetings:

  • Edgell Grove Cemetery Trustees have a meeting at 3 p.m.
  • Framingham Disability Committee has a meeting at 5 p.m. at Fuller Middle School
  • Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet at 7 in the Blumer room in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham City Council’s finance subcommittee scheduled to meet at 7 in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Buulding
  • Framingham Cultural Council is scheduled to meet at 7 in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham EDIC is scheduled to meeting tonight in the Memorial Building at 7.


According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer is expected to attend the Framingham School Committee meeting at 7.
