Owner: Donna Gath Criswell
First launched in: 2013
Why did you launch your business? This is a business started by a mother and daughter (Donna Gath Criswell and Sharon Marie Gath) as a means to help the Sharon deal with the struggles of having epilepsy.
Tragically, Sharon passed away just a few months after the business began early in 2013.
Donna decided to continue it in her daughter’s memory with 100% of all proceeds raised being donated to charities and scholarships created in Sharon’s name.
What will you be selling at the holiday marketplace? Hand crafted leather, silver, pewter and other metal jewelry. Most pieces have a magnetic closure/clasp.
What makes your business unique? Our business is unique in the craft itself, leather and other materials as well as the magnetic closures on most pieces. We are also unique in our mission, we do good things in Sharon’s name …Paying it forward.
Where do you get your inspiration from? My daughter.
What is your favorite thing about the holidays? Family
What is your signature item that everyone should buy at the marketplace and why? The petite Swarovski crystal and leather bracelets.
