UPDATED: Stabbing at Framingham Restaurant Sunday Night

FRAMINGHAM – A man stabbed his friend at a Framingham restaurant Sunday night, November 25.

The stabbing took place at Margaritas at 725 Cochituate Road. The stabbing was reported after 11:30 p.m.

A man stabbed another man in the abdomen, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, she said. The injury was not life-threatening.

The two men knew each other, she said.

They had an argument at the restaurant, Lt. Grigas said Monday morning

“One was punched and knocked down. He then stabbed his friend,” said Lt. Grigas Monday morning.

Sunday night, the scanner had police looking for a suspect, who was last seen running towards the Red Roof Inn in Framingham.

The suspect was later arrested, said Lt. Grigas.
