Why did you launch your business? I’m a lover of words and older modes of communication. I wanted to create a small business that helps people connect with themselves and loved ones through thoughtful, vintage-style gifts and cards.

What will you be selling at the holiday marketplace?  I will be selling 5×7 and 8×10 prints on handmade paper, vintage and handmade frames, and greeting cards.

What makes your business unique? I write almost all of the whimsical definitions and quotes myself and thoughtfully design them on handmade paper and stationery. I work with individual customers to create pieces that are personal to them and their loved ones.

Where do you get your inspiration from? My inspiration comes from my 94-year-old Great Aunt Audrey and my childhood best friend, Leigh Anne. I’ve been mailing letters and cards to them on a regular basis for over 20 years, forming very special bonds with each of them.

When I first started my business, a former co-worker said, “Anytime I write a letter to someone, I think of you and your love of that connection between people,” and that’s exactly why my heart fills with joy every time someone purchases one of my cards!

What is your favorite thing about the holidays? Spending time with family and giving back. Philanthropy and volunteering is very important to me and even more so around the holidays.

For every purchase of my “home” definition cards and prints, I donate 25% of the sale to Family Promise MetroWest, a local non-profit organization that helps homeless families get back on their feet.

What is your signature item that everyone should buy at the marketplace and why? Custom prints with wedding vows, song lyrics, or personalized names of loved ones or pets. Order them at the market and I will deliver by mid-December!
