Framingham’s Burgess Finishes 2nd at MIAA Division 1 Cross-Country Championship

WRENTHAM – Framingham High senior Ben Burgess finished second in the MIAA Division 1 cross-country championship meet today, November 10 in Wrentham.

His time was 15:48.7 minutes.

Brookline senior Lucas Aramburu won the individual title in 15:42.9 minutes.

Lexington sophomore Nick Porter finished third in 15:48.4 minutes.

Framingham finished 18th out of 24 teams with 459 points.

Lexington won the team title with 83 points.

Boston College High captured second place with 124 points, followed by St. John’s Prep in third with 136 points.

Freshman Arnay Singh finished 105th our of 168 runners on Saturday. His time was 18:08.3 minutes. He was the second fastest Flyer.

Junior Alexander Thurber finished 111th overall in 18:11.2 minutes.

Framingham freshman Nathaniel Dimidis finished 112th overall at 18:12.1 minutes.

Sophomore Samuel Moffat finished 135th with a time of 18:35.4 minutes. He was 5th overall for the Flyers.

Also competing today for Framingham were juniors Matthew Hom and Lucas Marshall.
