FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Department of Public Works will be removing two large, dead oak trees on Tuesday, November 6.
Due to the size and conditions of this tree, the hazardous nature of this work, proximity to primary power lines, said Framingham Highway Director Dan Nau.
“Tree removal equipment will be position for optimal reach and safety. Once this is set up the road will be impassable to all vehicles,” said Nau.
The last accessible house on Nixon Road from Edmands Road will be # 3 all other must access from Parameter Road, according to Framingham DPW.
The work is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m. and will continue until the trees are removed.
Police details will be onsite to help facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
