UPDATED: 5 Things You Need Today in Framingham: Monday, November 5

  1. Tomorrow is election day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in Framingham. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Framingham Public Schools students will have no school on Tuesday, November 6.

 

2.   City of Framingham meetings:

  • Keefe Technical School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7.
  • School Building Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 at Fuller Middle
  • Framingham License Commission is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.
  • District 1 City Councilor Charlie Sisitsky and District 2 City Councilor Pam Richardosn will hold a meeting in Saxonville tonight at 7 at Stapleton Elementary.
  • PTO Presidents meeting tonight with Superintendent Bob Tremblay.

 

3. FLYERS in action:

  • Framingham High unified basketball team has its last home game today against Natick High at 3:45 p.m.
  • Framingham High dance team won yesterday.
  • Flyers swim &  dive finished third at the Bay State Conference meet.

 

4. According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events but is scheduled to meet with individual city councilors today for an hour.

 

5. Today is the deadline for middle and high school students to submit their essay to the Homework Center.
