North Attleborough Defeats 5th Grade Framingham Flyers in Super Bowl

FRAMINGHAM – The fifth grade Framingham Youth football team travelled to Brockton today, November 4, to compete in the Bay State Super Bowl.

Unfortunately, the Flyers lost to North Attleborough n a hard fought game. The final score was 14-12.

The Jr. Flyers finish their season at 8-3.

This was the first time any Framingham Youth football team has been in the Super Bowl since 2012.

Framingham competes in the Bay State Conference, which has 20 teams – Attleboro, Brockton, Canton, Easton, Foxboro, Framingham, Franklin, King Philip, Mansfield, Milton, Natick, Needham, Newton, North Attleboro, Norwood, Quincy, North Quincy, Walpole, Wellesley and Weymouth.

The head coach for the 5th grade Flyers is Mike Todd.

The team’s strength is “complete team speed, an amazing passing game and an incredibly tough and tenacious defense,” said Todd.

Assistant coaches for the 5th grade Flyers are Mike Chagnon, Rick LaMonica, Mike McAuliffe, and Eddie McBrayer

The kids on the 5th grade team represent every school in Framingham.
