5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Halloween 2018

Happy Halloween!

The City of Framingham did not set trick or treat hours. Please be safe out with the kids tonight.

The Mayor, the City of Framingham and downtown Framingham hosted the City’s first-ever Spook-Tacular trick or treating event last night. The Mayor wore a Mikey hat. Mikey is a character in the Monsters Inc. Disney movie. Check out video and more photos from the event here.

 

2.  Traffic safety is becoming a concern among more and more Framingham neighborhoods. Residential streets are experiencing faster and more aggressive driving, an increase in accidents, and dangerous conditions for pedestrians and families at bus stops. These concerns are magnified on Halloween. The good news is there are plenty of safety measures both drivers and Trick-or-Treaters can take to reduce the chances of accidents. Click here to read some tips.

4.   According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer  has nothing on her public schedule, but Source has learned she plans to attend the Massachusetts School Building Authority meeting in Boston today. Learn more about the meeting, by clicking here.

The Mayor did not attend last night’s City Council meeting.
