Steve Leverone, 95, Retired Local 475 Union Metal Worker

FRAMINGHAM – Stephen “Steve” P. Leverone, 95, of Framingham, formerly of Boston, died peacefully with his family at his side on October 24, 2018.

Steve was a sheet metal worker for the Local 475 Union. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time at Foxwoods. He devoted his life to his family.

Steve was born January 20, 1923 in Boston. Son of the late John Leverone and Rose (Cavagnaro) Leverone. He was the brother of the late John D. Leverone of Ashland and Clara (Leverone) Martelli of Framingham. Beloved husband for 74 years to Rita (Conte) Leverone of Framingham, formerly of Boston. Loving father of Stephen J. Leverone, Charles R. Leverone and his wife Beverly Leverone, Lawrence P. Leverone and his wife Debra Leverone, Jacqueline R. (Leverone) Groccia and her husband Charles Groccia, Elaine R. Leverone and her fiancé Andrew P. Kaldes. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on October 31, at 10 a.m. at St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick, MA 01760.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery on Pond Street in Natick.

At the family’s request there will be no visiting hours.
