SLIDESHOW: 400 Pounds of Drugs and Medications Dropped Off in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham held its annual fall drug take-back day at the Framingham Police Station today, October 27.

The event was sponsored by the Framingham Health Department, the Framingham Medical Reserve Corp, and Framingham Police for 4 hours.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, more than 100 pounds of drugs and medications were collected an hour.

Overall, 400.6 pounds of medication was dropped off and boxed today, according to Framingham Framingham Chief Public Health Nurse Kitty Mahoney.
