Mary Rose Geneseo, 93, Retired From G.E. Telechron

FRAMINGHAM – Mary Rose Geneseo, 93, a lifelong resident of Framingham, died peacefully in the presence of her sister, Wednesday, October 24, 2018.

She was born in Framingham, daughter of the late Genesi and Cesira (Devoti) Geneseo.

Mary worked for over 30 years at G.E. Telechron in Ashland.

She had a zest for life and enjoyed her family and many friends.

She also was an active participant at St. Tarcisius Church at many of their fund raisers and later in life, enjoyed being a member of the Golden Rays at the church.

Mary was an avid bowler and belonged to many leagues and was once a Town Champion. She also enjoyed playing Bocce with her friends at the Columbus Hall and she traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Mary is survived by her sister, Louise Paglia of Framingham with whom she lived and nephews, Larry Paglia and his wife Eileen and John Paglia.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Bethany at Home and Carlyle House for the wonderful compassionate care they provided Mary.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10 AM at St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverley Street in Framingham.

Burial will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham.

Visiting hours at Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.), will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
