FRAMINGHAM Attorney Jessica Murphy, of Framingham, has been named the new President of the Board for Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester.
Murphy has been a member of the Board since 2014, serving as clerk and vice president. In addition, she has volunteered at Habitat’s Build Days.
The Framingham resident is a civil litigator with Mirick O’Connell, and she works at the firm’s Westborough office.
She concentrates on commercial disputes and construction issues. She counsels and represents a variety of local and national companies, including manufacturing companies, construction companies, banking and financial institutions, and professional service firms.
“What makes her appointment especially significant is that women now hold almost all the top leadership positions at this local Habitat affiliate,” said the organization.
The Executive Director, Director of Finance and Operations, and Vice President of Philanthropy/Marketing Director are also women.
