DeVeau Wins Race But Flyers Fall To Warriors

FRAMINGHAM -Flyer freshman Abigail DeVeau won the girls cross-country race at Farm Pond Park on Tuesday, October 23. Her time was almost 2 minutes ahead of the second place finished from Brookline High,

DeVeau won the 3.1-mile race in 20:48 minutes. Brookline Senior Caroline Kaplan was second in 22:17 minutes.

Framingham junior Paige Fisher was third in 22:22 minutes. Brookline finished fourth. And Framingham senior Madelyn Klein finished fifth in 22:29 minutes.

Despite three runners in the top five Framingham lost to the Warriors. Brookline won 27-38.

Framingham’s Mariana Kelly, a junior, was 14th in 24:22 minutes.

Framingham freshman Emma Rothwell was 15th overall in 24:23 minutes.

Flyer senior Jenna Riedl was 16th overall at 24:24.

Framingham junior Kristen Harrod was 17th overall in 24:27 minutes.

Flyer senior Clara Small was 19th overall in 25:29 minutes.

Next up for the Flyers is the Bay State Conference meet.
