The following is a press release from the Framingham League of Women Voters
FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham League of Women Voters is hosting a forum for voters ahead of the election on Tuesday, November 6.
The forum, co-sponsored by the MetroWest Daily News, is on Sunday, October 28 from 2-4 p.m. in the Costin Room at the main Framingham Library.
“There are many questions surrounding the ballot questions in this year’s election. The Framingham League of Women Voters’ mission is to encourage an informed and active electorate,” said Stephanie Deeley, President of Framingham chapter. “We are excited to host another forum for voters to learn about the issues facing voters in November.”
Representatives from each ballot question will give an overview of their question and answer questions.
Also, joining us will be Maria Robinson and Tom Blandford, candidates for State Representative for the Sixth Middlesex District.
Both will be allowed a 2-3 minute introduction and then will take questions.
Re-established in 2017, the League of Women Voters of Framingham is a nonpartisan grassroots organization. The organization encourages informed and active participation of citizens in government, work to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
