VIDEO: Mayor Spicer Declares October 20, 2018 Devin Suau Day

FRAMINGHAM – Today, Mayor Yvonne Spicer declared October 20 Devin Suau Day in the City of Framingham.

Devin died of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare pediatric cancer with no cure on October 20, 2017.

The Framingham Mayor held a small ceremony on the steps of the Memorial Building today, October 20 at 1 p.m. with Christine Suau and Devin’s brothers.

Everyone is asked to do an act of kindness or friendship today in honor of Devin.

On Tuesday, on the request of District 4 City Councilor Mike Cannon, the Framingham City Council unanimously declared Saturday Devin Suau Day.

Tomorrow, October 21, more than 350 people will participate in a 5K road race is being held in Devin’s memory to raise awareness about DIPG and to raise funds to find a cure and help the #WhyNotDevin Foundation.
