Framingham Garden Club To Dedicate Bench at Pollinator Garden in Nobscot Park; Donates The Saved Seed to Libraries and Elementary Schools

FRAMINGHAM – Visit the Pollinator Garden in Nobscot Park on October 25 as the Framingham Garden Club kicks off its 85th year.

On Thursday, at 2:30 p.m., the Garden Club will dedicate the park’s memorial granite bench and “We Remember” marker.

Both installations were designed and donated by the club.

Framingham Garden Club also designed and planted the Pollinator Garden with native plants donated by Garden in the Woods, and maintains the garden year round.

The park is located on Edgell Road, across the street from 837 Edgell Road. Parking is available.

Stay and join the story walk at the Christa McAuliffe Branch Library.

At 3 p.m., the children’s librarian will begin a story walk from library to Nobscot Park.

This story walk will feature “The Saved Seed.”

Pages of this wonderfully illustrated picture book will be placed around the Nobscot Park so visitors can follow the story while enjoying a walk around the park.

The Framingham Garden Club donated copies of the book to the city libraries and elementary schools.
