Undefeated Freshmen Flyers To Battle Wellesley Raiders Friday

FRAMINGHAM – The undefeated Framingham High freshmen football team will take on the 5-1 Wellesley High team on Friday, October 19.

The Raiders are 5-1, losing only to undefeated Natick High.

The Flyers freshmen squad is 6-0, under head coach Bob Desaulnier. He is assisted by Chris Collins and Steven O’Rourke.

Friday’s game is at 3:45 p.m. at Bowditch Field.

Framingham High’s varsity team travels to Wellesley for a Saturday afternoon battle.

Framingham defeated Stoughton High 40-28 to open the season.

The freshmen Flyers then shut out Belmont’s team 42-0.

The Freshmen Flyers defeated Braintree 30-8 in game 3, followed by a shut out of Brookline’s freshmen 24-0.



In game five, Framingham freshmen defeated Newton North 28-6.

Last week, Framingham’s freshmen  shut out the Wildcats’ freshmen squad 38-0.
