FRAMINGHAM – Kathryn A. Schofield, 64, of Natick, formerly of Framingham, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 15, 2018 due to complications from diabetes.
Born in Natick, she was the daughter of the late, Berton E. & Hazel C. (DeWitt) Schofield.
Kathy was raised and educated in Framingham where she was a 1972 graduate of Framingham South High School.
She earned an associates degree at Hesser College in New Hampshire.
After working for several accountants, she founded Bookkeeping Solutions out of Sudbury, now Marlborough.
Kathy enjoyed animals, especially her German Shepherds and cats. She was a devoted friend to many, and loved to travel to Aruba, Florida, and Lake Sunapee, NH. She was a passionate Patriots and Bruins fan.
Above all else Kathy found happiness in time with family, her siblings, Berton P. of Franklin, Bruce A. & his wife Sheila of Tyngsboro, and Mary C. DeSimone & her husband Richard of Framingham, her nieces and nephews, Kevin, John, Sarah, Meghan, Peter, John, Matthew, and Joseph, MaryKate and Dylan DeSimone, and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Kathy’s life by gathering for a time of visitation in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham, on Monday, October 22 from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Stephen’s Church, 251 Concord St., Framingham at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery.
