Framingham Democrats to Host Lt. Governor Nominee Palfrey and Hold Debate Watching Party

The following is a press release from the Framingham Democratic Committee. It is published as received.

The Framingham Democratic Committee (FDC) will be holding its October Meeting at 6:00 PM, this Sunday, October 21st, at the Community Room at The Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road.

The FDC will host representative of Senator Elizabeth Warren and Lt. Governor nominee Quentin Palfrey at their meeting. The appearances will be preceded by a pot-luck dinner. Immediately following those presentations, the group will watch the US Senate debate on TV. That will be followed by a business meeting.

The Business meeting will feature a discussion of the FDC’s resolution to support the Fuller Middle School Project. There will also be a vote taken on associate members and reports of the five standing committees.

Since the FDC regularly supports the Pearl Street Shelter, Joe Mina, the director of that facility will address the Committee to discuss future charitable efforts by the Democrats.

Members are encouraged to bring pot-luck food items to share at the dinner. Also, this month, the FDC will be raising money and collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items for BRACE, the Framingham Brazilian American Center.

The Framingham Democratic Committee normally meets on the third Sunday evening of the month at the Community Building at The Framingham Green, 136 Maynard Road, Framingham, MA 01701. All those attending are asked to park their cars at the lot at 1071 Worcester Rd., which is on the corner of Maynard Rd and Rte. 9. More information on the Committee is available on the website at, or from Chair, Beverly Hugo at
