FRAMINGHAM – Dorothy A. (Donnell) Gray, 91, a resident of Framingham for 59 years, died peacefully in the presence of family on Monday October 15, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Manor.
She was the beloved wife of Gerald Gray of Framingham with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Born at home in South Boston, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Margaret (Kelly) Donnell and was a graduate of Gate of Heaven School with the Class of 1944.
Mrs. Gray worked as the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Bonnie Upholstering in Allston for many years. She enjoyed cooking and the ocean in Maine, especially Boothbay Harbor and York.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Cheryl M. Crivello and her husband Paul of Westborough; 3 grandchildren: Meghan Crivello of Charlotte, NC, Ashleigh Crivello of Worcester and Rebecca Crivello of Westborough and a sister: Jackie Prentiss of South Boston; as well as a son-in-law: William White of Ashland. Mrs. Gray was predeceased by her daughter: Donna White in 1984 and her son: Robert L. (Bob) Gray in 2005.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at the Holy Family Chapel at St. Patrick’s Manor, 863 Central St., Framingham.
Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. A visiting hour will precede the Mass in the chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
