1 There is a playground build today for the Hoops & Homework program.More than 100 volunteers will be creating a new playground in the City at Interfaith Terrace.


2.  The MetroWest YMCA is hosting a nutrition workshop tonight at 6.  The topic is Nutrition Busters – Research is constantly changing in the field of nutrition
often leaving the general public confused and misinformed. Come find out what’s true and what’s a nutrition bust!  The free, hour-long workshop is lead by the Y’s
Registered Dietitian Maggie Lynch. No registration necessary.


3. FLYERS in action, weather permitting:

  • Home opener for the Framingham High unified basketball team at 3:45 p.m.  Game is against Newton South High.



4.  CITY of Framingham meetings:

  • Framingham Traffic Commission’s subcommittee on parking regulations will meet at 2 p.m. in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building
  • Edgell Grove Cemetery Trustees will meet at 3 p.m.
  • Framingham Conservation Commisson is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building.
  • Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room in the Mmeorial Building


5.  According to Mayor’s public calendar  on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events. It is not known if she will attend the Framingham School Committee meeting, but she did not attend the Framingham City Council meeting last nor the public hearing on the Fuller Middle School project.
