FRAMINGHAM – Framingham senior Ben Burgess won a tri-meet against Needham High and Weymouth High on October 10 at Cutler Park.
Burgess was the only Flyer in the top 12 in the cross-country meet. His winning time was 16:52 minutes.
Needham High’s Rockets captured second through seventh lace in the 5,000-meter race. Needham’s top runner was senior Ben Keegan at 17:25 minutes. Rocket Micah Bernat was third overall in 17;26 minutes.
Weymouth’s top runner was senior Owen O’Brien at 18:02 minutes. He was 8th overall.
Framingham lost the tri-meet to both the Rockets and the Wildcats of Weymouth.
Framingham junior Alexander Thurber was the second Flyer across the finish line in 18;16 minutes. He was 13th overall in the tri-meet.
Framingham senior Ben Silver was third for the Flyers. He ran the 3.1 miles in 18:27 minutes. He was 15th overall.
Freshman Arnay Singh was fourth overall for the Flyers in 18;34 minutes. He was 16th overall.
Freshman Nathaniel Dimidis was fifth for the Flyers in 18;43 minutes, He was 21st overall.
Framingham junior Lucas Marshall was sixth for the Flyers in 18:53 minutes. He finished 32nd in a field of 49 runners.
This ends the dual meet season for the Flyers.
