Staples Stores Not To Open on Thanksgiving Day

FRAMINGHAM – Staples stores will again be closed on Thanksgiving Day so that store associates can enjoy the holiday with family and friends, while will offer can’t-miss deals for customers looking to shop early without leaving their homes.

On Black Friday, exclusive in-store deals will begin at 7 a.m. in most locations and where states allow.

“We know that the holidays can be a hectic time but Staples is here to ensure shoppers and businesses of all sizes have the tools they need for a successful season,” says Steve Matyas, Chief Executive Officer, Staples Retail. “Our priority as an organization is to ensure that our store associates have the dedicated time they deserve to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends on Thanksgiving Day, so they’ll be ready to support customers on Black Friday and throughout the holidays.”

  • In-store Pack & Ship: Staples stores offer a two-in-one punch with packaging supplies and UPS® shipping services all in one spot. The best part: Staples is open nights and weekends to ensure packages arrive on time.
  • Free Next Day Shipping on orders of $49.99 or more. Order must be placed by 5 p.m. local time. Excludes weekend and holidays.
  • Hot Black Friday only deals including $200- $300 off select HP laptops, 40% off custom holiday cards, invitations and more. Additional Black Friday deals announced in early November.
