FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham History Center is hosting a lantern tour of historic Edgell Grove Cemetery at sunset on Sunday, October 28.

The event will begin at 5:44 p.m. at 53 Grove Street. A rain date of November 3 has been set.

The guided walking tour will feature stops at the burial sites of reinterred Revolutionary War soldiers, the unfortunate Hemenway brothers, cemetery designer Warren Nixon, and Mrs. Frances Lewis Wilson. We’ve unearthed new information on her plot.

“Enjoy a final story, refreshments, and a display of artifacts belonging to featured luminaries at the beautiful 1885  cemetery chapel,” said Framingham History Center Assistant Director Laura Stagliola.
