Moon Landing Discussion With Congressman Kennedy at Framingham State University

FRAMINGHAM – The public is invited to hear Congressman Joseph Kennedy offer a reflection on President John F. Kennedy’s exhortation “We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard”later this month.

The event will be held on the campus of Framingham State University on Tuesday, October 23. The presentation is at the Dwight Performing Arts Center from 6;30 to 8:30 p.m.

“How do we channel the same spirit to trigger in us an urgency to tackle the great challenges of our world today?” will be the focus that night.

Framingham State University students will lead a conversation that focuses on climate change with topics that range from community resilience to global awareness, from climate refugees to climate justice, from economic impact to policy action.
