FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced on its website Friday, October 5, that Mayor Yvonne Spice would hold a sewer rate hearing on Thursday, October 11.
The meeting will be held in the Blumer room in the Memorial Building at 7 p.m.
No press release was issued.
Mayor Spicer held a water rate hearing last month, in which she announced a 2 percent increase in water rates for residents and businesses.
“The purpose of this hearing is to compile comment and testimony from Framingham rate payers relevant to the setting of the sewer rates. Anyone interested in providing comments or testimony is welcome to attend. Written testimony will be accepted up until noon on October 12, 2018,” states the website.
A link to the proposed new rates was not part of the announcement, on the city’s website.
