Framingham’s Burgess Wins Cross-Country Race; Wildcats Defeat Flyers

MILTON – Framingham High senior Ben Burgess won the cross-country meet between Framingham and Milton high school on Wednesday afternoon at Houghton’s Pond in Milton. His time was 15.31 minutes.

Milton junior Robert Carew finished second in 15.57 minutes.

Wildcats Francis Lalley and Christopher Sullivan finished the 2.9 mile race in third and fourth place.

There was tie for fifth place between Framingham junior Alexander Thurber and Framingham freshman Nathaniel Dimidis at 17.14 minutes.

Matthew Hom finished was the fourth Flyer to cross the finish line in 17;25 minutes. He finished 10th overall.

Framingham senior Benjamin Silver was the fifth fastest Flyer in 17:47 minutes. He finished 12 overall.
