NATICK – Comedian and Dangerous Boobies author Caitlin Brodnick will share her personal journey and victory over her own dangerous boobies at the breast cancer event sponsored by MetroWest Medical Center in October.
MetroWest Medical Center’ is hosting Laugh & Learn: A Night of Fun and Breast Health Education is on Thursday, October 4 at the Crowne Plaza, The Verve in Natick from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free but pre-registration is required.
At 28 years old, Caitlin chose to have a double mastectomy as a preventive surgery after learning he carried the BRCA1 genetic mutation which prevents the suppression of tumor growth. This is the same genetic mutation made famous by Angelina Jolie.
Brodnick has incorporated much of her experience into a stand-up comedy routine that she is bringing to Natick.
Attendees on October also will hear from the following leading experts in the medical field, who work at MetroWest Medical Center in Natick & Framingham.
