Portion of Edmands Road Will be Closed for Tree Work Saturday

FRAMINGHAM –  Framingham Department of Public Works plans to remove two dead, very large oak treeson Edmands Road, weather permitting, on Saturday, September 29.

The work is scheduled to start at 8 a.m.

“Due to the size and conditions of the trees, the hazardous nature of this work, proximity to primary power lines/Water Pumping Station on Grove Street, tree removal equipment will be position for optimal reach and safety. Once this is set up the road will be impassable to all vehicles,” according to Framingham DPW Highway Director Dan Nau.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the work zone only from either side.

620 Edmands is the last house that can be accessed heading west from Edgell Road, once the work starts.

Framingham Police details will be on site to help facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian travel.
