She was the beloved wife of the late Frank P. Antonucci who died in 1980.
Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Martin J. and Mary J. (McDougal) Carroll.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in Somerville, she also attended Simmons College in Boston.
Mrs. Antonucci worked in administration for Verizon for 29 years in the Framingham and Marlborough offices before retiring.
An avid experienced world traveler, she made trips to China and Japan and many other far flung destinations over the years. She loved arranging flowers, and was a past president of the Simpson Park Garden Club.
In recent years, Mrs. Antonucci made many great friends with her fellow residents at St. Patrick’s Manor.
She is survived by her 4 children: Frank J. Antonucci & his wife Kate Bishop of Maryland, Elizabeth J. Antonucci of Framingham, Anthony C. Antonucci & his wife Kathy of Framingham and John S. Antonucci & his wife Sandra of Framingham; 4 step-grandchildren: Eric, Timothy, Bridget and Justin; and 5 great grandchildren: McKenna, Daken, Sydney, Eaton and Violet. She was pre-deceased by a daughter: M. Jeneth Bzdula and 3 siblings: William J. Carroll, Catherine DiMano and John J. Carroll, Sr.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Holy Family Chapel in St. Patrick’s Manor, 863 Central Street in Framingham.
A visiting hour will precede the Mass from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel.
Private burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
