Pamela D. (Hickey)  Landry, 71, Driver For Disabled Adults and Preschool Assistant

 

FRAMINGHAM – Pamela D. (Hickey)  Landry, 71, a lifelong resident of Framingham, passed away Wednesday Sept. 19, 2018 at MetroWest Medical Center.

She was the wife of the late Douglas B. Landry, Sr. who died in 2008.

Born in Framingham, she was one of 12 children of the late Daniel and Mary (Ferguson) Hickey.

She worked as a driver for disabled adults for many years as well as a preschool assistant.

She enjoyed knitting and bingo and was an avid reader, and loved to write in her journal.

She is survived by her children: Carla M. Barnicle of Warren, RI, Douglas B. Landry, Jr. of Hopkinton and Sean Landry of Framingham; 5 grandchildren: Todd B. Barnicle, Keegan J. Barnicle, Krystal Gabriel, Douglas J. Landry and Griffin D. Landry; 3 great grandchildren and 4 brothers: Robert Hickey, Jim Hickey, Ralph Hickey and Richard Hickey.

Visiting hours will take place Friday Sept. 28, 2018 from 4 to 7  p.m. at  Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Avenue in Framingham with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
Following the service, all are invited to join the family at the Ashland VFW,  311 Pleasant St., Ashland for a celebration of her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in her name to SMILES,  St. Judes Hospital or the MSPCA.
