Red Hawks Defeat Flyers in Home Opener at Farm Pond

FRAMINGHAM – The Natick girls cross-country team defeated the Framingham Flyers in their season and home opener yesterday, September 20 at Farm Pond.

Natick sophomore Nicole Frail won the race in 21.18 minutes.

Natick sophomore Emily Cocji finished second overall in 21.36 minutes.

Abigail DeVeau was the fastest Framingham runner, finishing third overall. in 21:43 minutes.

Junior Paige Fisher finished 11th overall and second for the Flyers in 21.13 minutes.

Framingham senior Madelyn Klein finished 13th overall, and third fir the Flyers in 23.39 minutes.

Kirsten Harrod finished fourth for the Flyers in 15th place overall at 24.38 minutes.

Senior Clara Small (pictured) was the fifth fastest Flyer in 19th place overall.

Over Framingham varsity runners yesterday in the home opener were Emma Rothwell, Jenna Riedl, Marianna Kelly, Marissa Drapeau, and Katie Ellsworth.
