Framingham Board of Health and Framingham Medical Reserve Corps Co-Hosting Family-Friendly Flu Clinic Saturday

FRAMINGHAM – This Saturday, September 22, 2018, the Framingham Health Department and Framingham Medical Reserve Corps will provide free flu vaccinations for anyone aged six [6] months and older at McCarthy Elementary School, located at 8 Flagg Drive in Framingham.

Vaccinations will be administered between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

This clinic is free but if you have health insurance, please bring your insurance card with you. No one will be denied due to lack of insurance. For more information and an opportunity to print the flu insurance form ahead of time, visit: www.framinghamma.gov/1173/Flu-Clinic-Information.

 

There will be an Express Clinic Area. Come prepared using these steps at home:

1.)           Fill out a 2018-2019 Flu Insurance Information Form.

2.)          Print the completed form and bring it with you. (The completion of this form is necessary for every vaccine recipient; if no insurance information is available, please fill out as much as possible using existing information).

The flu vaccine is one of the safest and most effective ways of preventing the flu. Everyone six [6] months and older should get a flu vaccine each year. Keep yourself from getting sick and prevent giving it to your loved ones by getting vaccinated on September 22, 2018. High Dose flu vaccine is also for eligible seniors (ages 65 and up).
