UPDATED: 5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Friday, September 14

1  City Hall and the Framingham Health Department at Fuller Middle School will close early today at 12:30 p.m.

This is part of the City’s new pilot program. City offices will close early on Friday, and stay open later on Tuesdays.


2.  CUFFS (Crafting United Flavors From Scratch) out of Rhode Island will be creating globally-inspired sandwiches for sale at Exhibit A Brewing Company tonight from 5 to 9 p.m.


3. According to Mayor’s public calendar on the City of Framingham’s website, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events.

  • The undefeated Framingham High field hockey team travels to Braintree today for a 3:45 p.m. game
  • The boys golf team lost to Needham yesterday.
  • Boys soccer travels to Braintree for a 3:45 p.m. game
  • Girls soccer hosts Braintree at 3:45 p.m. at Framingham High
  • Girls volleyball hosts Braintree at 4 p.m.
  • Girls cross-country tri-meet against Brookline & Braintree has been postponed
  • Boys cross-country tri-meet against Braintree & Brookline has been postponed
  • Football hosts Belmont at 6;30 p.m. at Bowditch field. The Flyers are 0-1.
  • Girls swim & dive travels to Babson College for a meet against the Rockets of Needham High at 7 p.m. The Flyers won their home opener.
