SOUTHBOROUGH – St. Mark’s Episcopal Church will hold “Welcome Back Sunday” on Sunday, Sept. 9, for regular attendees and visitors who want to learn about the many activities the parish has planned for fall and winter.
St. Mark’s is located at 27 Main St. in Southborough.
“Welcome Back Sunday” activities at 9:45-10:45 am, Sept. 9, will consist of:
- A time to reconnect with friends and make new friends after summer vacation
- Ice cream sundaes for children registering for Sunday School, which begins on Sept. 16
- Breakfast treats for adults
- An Outreach Team ministry fair, which will present plans for service projects, such as helping out at Daniel’s Table in Framingham.
Worship services beginning Sept. 9 are: 7:45, Spoken Eucharist; 9:45, Family Eucharist; and 10:45 am, Sung Eucharist. All are welcome to attend.
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church is a welcoming, growing, Christ-centered community. It strives to use individual talents to do God’s will by loving God and neighbors through worship, education and fellowship. The church enjoys outreach and sharing faith in real ways.
