FRAMINGHAM – OUT MetroWest will honor Grace Moreno, executive director of the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, during this year’s Come Out
& Celebrate event on Friday, September 21.
The event will be held at The Verve Crowne Plaza in Natick at 6:30 p.m.
Moreno has more than 20 years of experience leading state and national not-for-profit organizations and has dedicated her career to advocacy for all people, regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity. At the Massachusetts LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Moreno seeks to promote economic growth and viability for LGBT-owned and allied businesses, corporations, and professionals.
“Grace is an inspiration to the youth OUT MetroWest serves,” said Sawyer Bethel, executive director of OUT MetroWest. “We’re thrilled to honor her at this event—she reminds us of the power and potential of the local LGBTQ community.”
Tickets are $125 and include cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
Funds raised at Come Out & Celebrate allow OUT MetroWest to run its free programs for LGBTQ youth.
Each month, OUT MetroWest runs more than a dozen educational, social, and supportive meetings for middle- and high school-aged youth from across the greater Boston area. Meetings are held in Framingham, Newton, and Wellesley.
