FRAMINGHAM – I will be writing in Maria Robinson for 6th Middlesex State Representative on September 4.
I got to know Maria as she took on leadership roles for a statewide campaign and for the local Democratic Committee. While supporting different candidates, we negotiated a unity delegate slate for the State Convention. I appreciated her ability to work well with a team.
I am impressed with her national work writing legislation addressing climate change. This experience, along with her MIT degree and masters in energy law are resources from which we would benefit as she works for us on Beacon Hill. What better time to send an expert on clean energy to the State House?
Her 3-generation family made the commitment to choose Framingham for their permanent home.
As a parent of children currently in the Framingham Public Schools, she is directly connected to the schools and parent community.
But beyond credentials, during this campaign I have observed Maria’s ability to listen to residents, patiently acknowledge their concerns, take note of their suggestions, and understand what is on their minds. As our legislator, she will be approachable, open, creative, and caring.
Chris Walsh set a high standard for all of us. No one can replace him. But I believe Maria offers a new generation of leadership for Framingham’s future.
On the ballot (precincts1,2,4-7,9-12,15), there will be no name under “Representative in General Court”. Please join me to write in “Maria Robinson” (or use her sticker), and fill in the oval to proudly cast your vote for our next State Representative.
