Evo Facchini, 90, Owner of Tripoli Barber Shop For 55 Years

FRAMINGHAM – Evo N. Facchini, 90, a lifelong Framingham resident, died Monday, August 20, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Mario & Theresa (Giombetti) Facchini, and the beloved husband of Rita M. (Dubay) Facchini.

Evo was raised and educated in Framingham, and was the proud owner of Tripoli Barber Shop for more than 55 years.

He honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Army.  Evo enjoyed the outdoors whether it was gardening, fishing, skiing or playing golf.

Evo was a true family man and besides his beloved wife Rita, he is survived by his children, Carol Hillman & her husband Dean of Southborough, Michael of Auburn, Kevin of Milford, John of Framingham, Lori Caporale & her husband Joseph of Ashland, and Chris & his wife Cyndi of Orrington, ME, his grandchildren, Brett, Matthew, Michael, Amber, Ryan, Liam, Catarina and Luke, his great grandson Jack, and 5 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 6 siblings.

Family and friends will honor and remember Evo’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham on Wednesday August 22nd from 4- 7 P.M.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly St. Framingham, at 10 o’clock.

Interment will follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
