FRAMINGHAM – The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) will begin to hold consumer feedback office hours on the third Wednesday monthly starting in September.
The office hours will be held at the headquarters at 15 Blandin Avenue in Framingham the third Wednesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m.
The first office hour is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19 from 6 to 7 p.m.
The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority was formed in 2006 by the state legislature to help serve the public transportation needs of the 32-town corridor known as the I-495/MetroWest corridor.
MWRTA is responsible for fixed bus routes and para-transit routes, which mimic the normal bus routes, but provide a smaller bus with lift capability for the disabled and physically challenged individual. Para-transit transportation is a shared ride, origin to destination service required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Consumers of Fixed Route and Paratransit service will be able to ask questions, give comments and address any concerns to MWRTA management, related to the service provided by the MWRTA. Signage will direct visitors to the entrance of the building where the office hour sessions will be held.
