The following is a press release from the Framingham League of Women Voters
FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham League of Women Voters (LWV) and the MetroWest Daily News invite you to join us for a Democratic Candidate Forum on Monday, August 20 th from 7-8:45 p.m. at Framingham’s Main Library, 49 Lexington Street in Framingham.
State Representative candidates Mary Kate Feeney, Mike Gatlin and Maria Robinson will be participating in this event. Mark Tilden had a previously scheduled family vacation and will not be able to participate.
Candidates for the Middlesex DA office have been invited but we have not yet heard from DA Marion Ryan. We will decide on including candidates for this race by end of day today, August 13.
We will be asking questions of all the candidates on issues that are important to residents of Framingham, and encourage all to submit questions in advance to LWVFram@gmail.com . We will also be taking written questions from the audience at the event.
The primary election on September 4 will determine which of these candidates will appear on the ballot for the general election on November. This is an opportunity to hear from the candidates and learn what they bring to the table.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about your choices in this important election.
