FRAMINGHAM – Juanita J. “Nita” Williams, 87, a longtime Framingham, MA resident, formerly of Binghamton, NY, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018.
Born in Bartlesville, OK and raised in Lawton, OK, the daughter of the late Donald F & Beulah M. (Baker) Preisch, she is the beloved wife of Donald P. Williams.
She was a 1950 graduate of Lawton High School and attended Cameron State Agricultural College.
She then worked in the personnel office at Link Aviation in Hillcrest, NY.
Throughout her life, Nita loved to dance and play tennis, being a candy striper and Cub Scout Den mother, and spending time with family and friends.
She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Framingham church group.
Besides her beloved husband and best friend of 66 yrs., Donald, Nita is survived by his son Mark & his wife Maggy of Greene, NY, her grandsons, Benjamin & his wife Bryana of Columbia, TN, and Andrew of Binghamton, NY, and her sisters, Donna Montgomery of Virginia Beach, VA, and Ann Fatum of Lawton, OK.
Family and friends will honor and remember Nita’s life by gathering for her funeral service in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln Street in Framingham on Wednesday, Aug 8 at 4 p.m. A time of visitation will follow in the funeral home until 7 p.m.
Interment will take place on Thursday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Candor, NY at 1 p.m.
Her family would like to thank all the medical staff, caretakers, and devoted friends for all of their time and support to provide compassionate care and kindness to Nita and her family.
