FRAMINGHAM – Sister M. Patricia Camillus, O.Carm., passed into eternal life on August 2, 2018, at St. Patrick’s Manor, Framingham in her 58th year of religious life.
Born in Rochester, NH, on February 27, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Jessie (Tremblay) Lucier.
Jeanette Irene Lucier entered the Congregation on September 7, 1960, professed first vows on April 17, 1963, and final vows on July 1, 1967.
Trained as a registered nurse prior to entering, Sr. Camillus spent most of her religious life serving in positions that utilized her excellent nursing skills.
Among them, homes in NH, PA, NY, and finally Framingham, MA. Sr. was an avid baseball fan always rooting for her beloved New York Yankees.
Besides her sisters in Carmel, Sr. Camillus is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Laliberte of Nashua, NH, her nephew Donald Laliberte & his wife Patricia of Merrimack, NH, her niece, Denise Cram & her husband Peter of Merrimack, NH, and her grandnephew, Joseph & his wife Alyssa of CO. The family would like to give special thanks to Ayodele Johnson for her constant care and support of Sr. Camillus.
Family and friends will honor and remember Sr. Camillus’ life by gathering for visiting hours in the Holy Family Chapel of St. Patrick’s Manor, 863 Central St.,Framingham on Wednesday August 8 from 2 to 7 p.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel on Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Queen of Carmel Cemetery, Germantown, NY at 2 P.M.
